Textile research from raw material to end product

The Institute of Textile Technology and Process Engineering Denkendorf develops under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heinrich Planck innovative processes and textile products for the industry. Interdisciplinary material and product research is conducted for a wide range of applications – along the complete production chain – from the raw material to the end product. Important topics include technical textiles, life sciences, and smart textiles. Aside from the conventional fields of textile technology processes and mechanical engineering, included are biology and medicine.
